“When you visit Kauai, be sure to try a Puka Dog—a mouthwatering, Hawaiian-style hotdog, with secret sauces and relishes made from native fruits.”
The Aloha spirit is enchanting-the word not only means hello and goodbye, it's also used for love, mercy, and as a heartfelt way to recognize both strangers and friends. After living here for a few years, I developed a passion for sharing Hawaii's many pleasures. Beauty takes on a whole new meaning when you spend the day at a perfect beach in Oah'u, and nothing paints a picture like the legendary "talking stories" told by the locals. I'll suggest restaurants created by the same visionaries who invented Pacific Rim cuisine, and advise you which attractions-like Volcano National Park-merit an extra day of sightseeing. From where to hear the best local music and buy leis even the locals will swoon for to sampling the most mouthwatering fish tacos and Mai Tai's, your adventure will include all the hidden gems that only a true Insider can provide. Having earned the title Island Master for Maui, Oah'u, Molokai', Lana'i and specialist for Kauai and Hawaii, your authentic journey begins here.

“Experience a side of Hawaii most tourists never see, from viewing "nature's fireworks" to hunting wild boar—just ask me how!”
There is so much more to Hawaii than the beach! As an Insider for this island paradise, I'll be your guide to the endless adventure that awaits you. Feast on some of the freshest seafood at my favorite shrimp truck in Oahu, or take a tour designed around one of the many films shot on location here. I'll reveal a great snorkeling spot for viewing majestic sea turtles, and I'll book you on a truly fascinating tour of Pearl Harbor. Nature-lovers and thrill-seekers will enjoy my suggestions for one-of-a-kind adventures; outside of Volcanoes National Park, for instance, you can cross a lava field on foot and watch the beautiful nighttime show of lava hitting the water-known by the locals as "nature's fireworks." With my guidance, you'll visit orchid farms and waterfalls, identify constellations with astronomy guides, or hunt wild boar on horseback. For a side of Hawaii most tourists never see, contact me today.

“Always take your shoes off before entering the home of a local resident. No exceptions!”
I have traveled to these beautiful islands many times, so I've seen them from a tourist's perspective; with friends and family living in Maui, I've also come to know Hawaii like the locals do. For more than 20 years, I've been sending clients to these islands to soak up the sun and enjoy the beauty unique to each island. What we'll plan together all depends on what you consider a vacation, whether that means seeing every square inch Hawaii has to offer, or kicking off your sandals and settling in with a good book to read on the beach. Contact me today to discover all the reasons why I simply love sharing the Aloha spirit.

“I love the view from Diamond Head with it's breathtaking, unparalleled vista of the entire west side of the island, from Waikiki to Koko Head. "”
Oahu has it all and I have been planning trips for people to this fabulous island since 1991. I have toured hotels, experienced excursions, museums and many of the beaches. I went through the masters program to become a Oahu Destination Specialist. Do you want to know where to have a plate lunch or where the best look out point is? Oahu is "Waikiki" and so much more. You can hike in the rain forest, go to the art museum, walk in the gardens at Senator Fong's Plantation to pick your flowers for lei making. On a rainy day you can drive and see the many water waterfalls that arrive at Ho'Omaluhia Botanical Gardens. When the rain stops it is a wonderful picnic spot with a 32 acre lake and lush hillsides. There are beaches good for surfing, kayaking or floating. Hawaii has the feeling of "Ohana" which means family. It is paradise with the Hawaiian culture and warmness to make you feel at home. Whether it is romance, family fun, or a little history, Oahu has it all. Let me help you plan your next trip to Oahu. I will be sure to have you stop at Matsumoto's for shaved ice!

“Hanauma Bay is closed on Tuesday's on Oahu. In Honolulu, the Aloha Stadium Swap meet has the best deals on the island!”
I used to live in Hawaii in 1972 and after that I would spend 3 months in the summer on all of the islands. I have been back 2-3 times per year ever since so I know every island, hotel, and activity that they offer. All of the islands offer something different ~ from volcanoes on the Big Island, to waterfalls and flora on Kauai, to the best golf courses and beaches on Maui, to great shopping and nightlife on Oahu, and if you really want to get away and just relax, head to Lanai. I can help you to decide on what island, what type of accommodations, activities and restaurant recommendations would be best for you. I also have great relationships with the hotel sales reps and can get the best deals that you are looking for; maybe even a free upgrade or amenity !

“If you want to beat the crowds at Pearl Harbor, take the boat to the memorial before the tour buses and shore excursions arrive.”
I've lived and breathed Hawaii for over two decades now, and countless visits have taught me one important detail: if you're headed to the islands, leave the guidebooks at home and opt for the scenic route. Whether you're hiking, hanging out at the beach or kicking back with the locals in Kauai, embrace every opportunity to slow down, take a deep breath and enjoy the beauty of this magical place. From off-the-beaten-path adventures to thrills such as zip lining, kayaking and snorkeling, I've got you covered. When it comes to hotels and restaurants, I've seen and stayed at more places than I can count, and I'm eager to share my best experiences with you. Whether you're embarking on your maiden voyage or circling back for your tenth visit, contact me today so I can help you plan a Hawaiian vacation that will stay in your heart forever.

“I recommend taking a tour in Kauai to see the beautiful scenic breathtaking areas where you cannot vist by auto or boat.”
Mark Twain said it best: "The loveliest fleet of islands that lies anchored in any ocean". He was talking, of course, about Hawaii - a chain of islands I fell in love with upon arrival many years ago, and have grown even more entranced by in my many visits since. From the gorgeous beaches to the lush green valleys and towering volcanoes - I've sent travelers meandering by horseback through Kauai, swimming with Spinner dolphins and angling for a sight of the elusive humpback whales. Beyond the sun and surf, there's a little taste of the other Hawaii for everyone. Buzz me today and say aloha - I'll take it from there.

“I have been a professional travel planner since 1969, but my love affair with Hawaii began with my first trip…”
I have been a professional travel planner since 1969, but my love affair with Hawaii began with my first trip in 1974. I love fitness, fine dining and lively nighttime entertainment-all of which you can find among these stunning islands. From hotels and shopping to dining and water sports, I can walk you through the must-dos and coordinate all the details of your trip. If you need to arrange spa treatments, golf, or have any other special requests, I can help you book those too. I excel at seeing the big picture, meaning that when you work with me, I'll help shape your itinerary around your unique travel needs. Hawaii is my passion-contact me today and let me show you why it just might become yours.
“Visit Mauna Kea, the highest point in Hawaii and home to a famous astronomical observatory.”
Hawaii is my favorite state; the locals are exceedingly welcoming, and from the first time I set foot on the islands in 1977, it was love at first sight. I'm not only a Destination Specialist certified by the Hawaiian Tourist Board, I was also selected out of 400 applicants to attend the Hawaii Travel Exchange in 2013. If you're seeking adventure and romance, I've got just the ticket: how about a helicopter flight to the picturesque waterfalls made famous in the movies, or a sunset dinner cruise in your own private catamaran? Spend the morning exploring sea caves, followed by a hike through the rainforest and a tasty picnic in the fern grotto; I'll show you all the glories of paradise and remind you to bring your hat and sunscreen! During my 30 plus years in the industry, I've received dozens upon dozens of letters from clients thanking me for making their vacation dreams come true. Call or email me today and give me the chance to make you as happy as I made them.
